Waukesha Choral Union invites all singers in the community to participate in the March 28, 2010 presentation of Haydn's Creation for free
To sing onstage for Haydn's Creation you must attend the following rehearsals:
Sunday, March 21, 2010 6-8:30pm Shattuck Auditorium, Carroll University
Tuesday, March 23, 2010 7-9:30pm Waukesha South High School choir room
Saturday, March 27, 2010 2-4:30pm Shattuck Auditorium, Carroll University
Sunday, March 28, 2010 3pm Performance! Shattuck Auditorium, Carroll University

Audition
Process:
Scheduled
auditions last about 10 minutes. The audition will include vocal
exercises and simple music sight-reading and part-singing. You are
encouraged but not required to prepare a solo of your choosing. Please
bring an extra copy of your music as an accompanist will be provided.

EXEMPT from regular Waukesha Choral Union auditions. |

Joining
Costs
Dues
Dues reduced for Winter-Spring Semester!
Joining costs have been reduced for the 2010 Winter-Spring Semester!
New
members will have only $50 in dues fee and $50 in additional
financial obligations (ticket sales, entertainment books, donations)
for the fall 2009 semester. A current member who recruits one
or
more new members will have the same obligation as a new member.
This represents a savings of $50 per membership.
It's a great time to sing with the Waukesha Choral Union!
Carroll University
'traditional' students
enrolled in the
Undergraduate or Graduate programs are not required to pay dues, but
are responsible for the tuition associated with taking WCU as a Carroll
class offered in the timetable.
Participation:
Members are encouraged to assist in the operation of the Choral Union.
There are a number of committee choices or small short-term tasks to
fit the interest and abilities of WCU members. More
information
will follow post audition. |
